LETS BREAK IT DOWN
We are training computers to have a mind of their own. They are able to build upon what they have already been taught, similar to how we learn. They mimic human functions such as learning and problem solving. How do they learn so much? Well, every time we use computers and google searches, we are contributing to a deep network which learns and models our behavior patterns. This piles up a ton of data which in turn leads to (data mining) to further develop artificial intelligence.
